Where to find ReSkate mods

Thunderstore has a dedicated ReSkate community. Browse there or use the launcher’s MODS section. Open a package’s original listing to see its description, dependencies and changelog. A download count is not a guarantee that a package will work with your setup.

For a night session, the creator offers a work light and headlamp. Other players need the mod installed to see the light. It overlaps with Smoke Session, so check for shared features before combining them. This is a creator-described recommendation, not a hands-on test.

For a different filming feel, this data-only camera pack offers a 12 mm fisheye plus low, high and chase views. It overrides the FOV slider; disable the pack to restore that control. Game version changes can require the author to rebuild the pack. Check the current listing before installing.

For a smaller-wheel look, this package replaces wheel mesh while keeping standard graphics, according to its creator. Load it before other wheel-mesh packages: the first one loaded takes priority. Use the author’s page for current compatibility and instructions.

Install through the launcher

In the launcher, open MODS, browse and install a package, then choose PLAY. In game, press Insert and open MODS to enable the content as required by its instructions. A package ZIP can also be dragged onto the launcher when supported. Check dependencies first and keep a record of additions.

Add one thing at a time

Start with a working, unmodified session. Add one package, launch the game and check the result before installing more. If a problem appears, disable the most recent addition and check whether it requires a different ReSkate version or another package.

FAQ

Scripts and account unlocks

The upstream project currently marks custom Lua scripts in scripts/Custom as disabled. Do not follow older guides that promise this workflow still works. Thunderstore’s ReSkate rules prohibit packages that bypass paid unlocks and prohibit DLL or EXE uploads. Follow the platform rules and the creator’s license.
