ReSkate videos help you see a workflow, but the project changes quickly. Check the creator, upload date and release shown before following an installation tutorial.

Use videos alongside the written guide
The current launcher uses an empty standalone folder and downloads a separate game copy. If a video tells you to put ReSkate in the Steam skate. folder, it shows an older workflow. Our installation guide follows the current upstream documentation.
Check what the video actually demonstrates
Look for the release number, the launcher interface and whether the creator demonstrates an actual completed session. A gameplay montage is not an installation guide, and a successful download does not establish mod compatibility.
Watch on the creator’s own channel
